ITINERARY
DÍA 01: City Tour en Cusco.
In the morning we’ll welcome you at the airport in Cusco, then transfer you to your hotel in the city, where you can have an aromatic coca-leaf tea to counteract some symptoms of altitude of the city.
2:00 PM EXCURSION CITY TOUR In the afternoon, at approximately 13:30 hrs. We’ll pick up you from the hotel for the city tour in the majestic city of Cusco, which will include a visit to the Temple of Koricancha also known as “Temple of the Sun” the most important temple in Inca times. Then we will move out of town where we visit the 4 ruins:
Sacsayhuaman, famous for its enormous carved stones, and because at this place is held every year the Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun. Also we’ll visit Qenko, an amphitheater where it is believed that the Incas mummified their dead. Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to the worship of water and Puca Pucara. At the end we’ll return to the city of Cusco.
At night you can optionally visit the Qosqo Native Art Center and enjoy dances and traditional music heritage of our Inca culture.

DAY 02: Cusco – Visit to the Sacred Valley
This day we do the tour to the “Sacred Valley” starting the tour at 9:00 am, we’ll pick you up from the hotel to go to Pisac, where we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac with picturesque cultivated terraces on the mountains, then we’ll visit the typical market famous for the crafts fair after which we’ll go to Urubamba where we can have lunch (not included).
Then you’ll visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, it is the only Incas city in Peru which is still inhabited, Ollantaytambo would have been a city-Tambo or accommodation, strategically located to dominate the Sacred Valley.
Then we will go to another town in the Sacred Valley, Chinchero to visit the colonial temple that was built on an Inca temple, then visit its typical market where we can appreciate the process of obtaining wool and inka textiles, then return to Cusco.
Arrival time 7:00 PM Approx., Transfer to hotel.

DAY 03: Cusco – Calca – Lares Thermal Baths – Cuncani (Lares trek)
At 05:00 hrs. We’ll pick up you from hotel in Cusco, to start our adventure through the Sacred Valley, then we`ll arrive at the small village of calca (2940 m.a.s.l.) then we pass by small villages of Totora and Maucaupata. Finally, after a journey of approx. 4 hours we’ll arrive at Lares (3,200 m.a.s.l.) where we can visit to the thermal baths (hot springs) for a refreshing bath. After lunch we’ll started the walk reaching the first campsite at 16:00 Hrs. (3750 m).
DAY 04: Cuncani – Ipsaycocha (Lares trek)
After breakfast we continue our trek through the valley to reach the Huacawasi community, in this place people produce tissues and we can observe their great skills and brilliant techniques to make ponchos and clothes. Passing the village we’ll begin to climb to the second step Condorpasa (4450 m). From there we can see an amazing view of the Veronica snow (5750 m). Then we’ll descend approximately 1 hour to reach the beautiful Ipsaycocha lagoon, place where will camp this night 3900 meters.
DAY 05: Ipsaycocha – Patacancha – Huylloc – Pumamarka – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes. (Lares trek)
After breakfast, We’ll start to descend through the valley to get to the community of Willoc where we can have lunch, from there takes about 2 hours more, during our walk you can see the archaeological remains of Qochapata, until you reach the Pumamarka community where we can appreciate Inca terraces finally we’ll arrive to Ollantaytambo located in a fertile valley and protected by huge mountains, this ancient Inca village is considered one of the most important living museums in the world. Then you’ll take the train in Ollantaytambo station which will take you to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), you’ll travel by train about 02 hours. Once in Aguas Calientes our staff is waiting for you to take you to the hotel.

DAY 06: Aguas Calientes – visit to Machu Picchu – Cusco
This day we will wake up very early and after breakfast we board the first bus 5:30 am, we’ll make a 30 minute journey reaching Machu Picchu at 6:00 am to see the impetuous sunrise. Here we will have a guided tour of 2 hours visiting the most important places of Machu Picchu. The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu is one of the most beautiful and impressive ancient sites in the world, Machu Picchu was rediscovered in 1911 by the historian Hiram Bingham after lying hidden for centuries on the Urubamba Valley, it is surrounded by agricultural terraces and watered by natural springs. Machu Picchu has become the most important tourist attraction in Peru and Latin America.
Finished the guided tour you’ll have free time 4 hours more to visit Machu Picchu on your own. (Optional Huayna Picchu for 15 USD).
Finally we’ll return to Aguas Calientes by bus. And in the afternoon you’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff await to transport you to the hotel in Cusco.

Day 7: Cusco – Return to Lima
At appointed time we’ll pick up you from hotel and transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Lima and then to your destiny.
